How does foniiz work?

Once plugged in, it connects to your home Wi-Fi. No SIM card, no complicated setup.

From your phone, you add and approve their contacts one by one: their friends, their grandparents or your own number. No one else can call them.

Your child calls on their own, like a big kid: from one foniiz to another, or — with the Family Line option — to the numbers you've approved (grandparents, your mobile…).

What age is foniiz for?+

foniiz is designed mainly for children aged 5 to 11: the age when they start wanting to call their loved ones, while staying away from screens and online content.

Is a subscription required?+

No. Calls from one foniiz to another are included, with no subscription. To reach regular numbers (your mobile, grandparents…), the Family Line option will be available, with no commitment. Emergency calls (112) are always possible.

What about my child's data?+

Protecting children is at the heart of the project: no camera, no remote-listening feature, and conversations are never resold or used for advertising. The foniiz service data will be hosted in the European Union, in line with the GDPR.

Where is the project at?+

foniiz is in development. This page lets the first interested parents join the priority list while we prepare production of the first units. Signing up is free and with no commitment.
